How they help on the trail
A regular or high arch leaves a gap under the middle of your foot, so your heel and the ball of your foot carry most of the load. Contoured arch support fills that gap and spreads the pressure out, while the deep heel cup and heel shock pad keep you stable and cushioned on descents.
What's inside
A soft top layer, a cushioned PU base, a firm TPU arch shell, a deep U-shaped heel cup, and shock pads at the heel and forefoot. The arch rises about 35 mm at its highest point.
Fit & sizing
Remove your boot's original insole, lay it on top of the new insole, and trim the toe to match if needed. Open the size guide above for exact insole lengths.
Shipping & 60-day guarantee
Shipping is free on every order. Orders are processed within 24 hours and you'll get tracking by email. Every order is covered by our 60-day trail guarantee. See the shipping policy and return policy.
Care
Hand wash with mild soap and cool water, then air dry away from direct heat. Replace about once a year with regular hiking, or sooner if the cushioning feels flat.

Why high arches still ache on long hikes
With a natural or high arch, the middle of your foot barely touches the liner. Your heel and forefoot take the full load, mile after mile, and that pressure builds into sore heels and burning forefeet.
The Regular & High Arch insole fills the gap under your arch so the whole foot shares the work.

Support that fits your arch, and your boot
-
A
Firm arch shell
A TPU shell under the arch that holds its shape when your pack is heavy and your legs are tired.
-
B
Deep heel cup
Cradles your heel so it stays centered on rocks, roots, and off-camber trail.
-
C
Heel shock pad
Softens the hit on every downhill step, where your heel lands hardest.
-
D
Forefoot cushioning
Takes pressure off the ball of your foot on long climbs.
-
E
Breathable top layer
A soft, sweat-wicking surface that stays comfortable on all-day hikes.
Not sure which arch you have?
Take the 30-second wet footprint test. Your print shows how much of your arch touches the ground.
- Wet the sole of your bare foot
- Step onto a paper bag or dark towel
- Step off and compare your print
-
Full print: flat or low arch
You see almost your whole sole, with little or no curve on the inside edge. Your arch drops under load.
Shop Flat & Low Arch -
Half curve: regular arch
About half of the inside edge is missing from the print. A natural arch that still tires on long days.
Shop Regular & High Arch -
Thin band: high arch
Only a thin strip connects heel and forefoot. Pressure piles onto your heel and the ball of your foot.

Trail questions
Can't find your answer? Email support@steadfeet.com and we'll reply within 24 hours.
Which insole is right for me?
If your arch flattens or your feet roll inward, choose Flat & Low Arch. If you have a natural curve or a high arch, choose Regular & High Arch. Not sure? Take the wet footprint test above. It takes 30 seconds.
Will they fit in my hiking boots?
Yes. Remove your boot's original insole and slide SteadFeet in its place. Choose your normal shoe size. If you're between sizes, size up.
Can they help with heel pain or plantar fasciitis?
Many hikers with heel and arch pain feel better with firm arch support and heel cushioning, which is exactly what SteadFeet is built around. Insoles aren't a medical treatment, so if pain is severe or lasts, see a podiatrist or doctor.
How long do they last?
With regular hiking use, plan on replacing them about once a year, or sooner if the cushioning feels flat. Hand wash with mild soap and let them air dry.
Can I mix sizes or arch types in a bundle?
Yes. Add any sizes and either arch type to your cart and the bundle discount applies automatically. It's built for couples and hiking partners with different feet.
What if they don't work for me?
Every order comes with our 60-day trail guarantee. Email support@steadfeet.com within 60 days of delivery and we'll make it right. Shipping is always free.
