We started Steadfeet because we believe foot pain shouldn't be the price of getting outside.

The problem with what's in your boots

Most hiking boots ship with a thin foam insole that flattens out fast. It cushions for a while, then quietly stops doing its job. Your arch sags, your heel slides, and every step on rocky, uneven ground sends more strain through your feet.

The usual fixes weren't much better. Soft gel and memory foam insoles feel great in the store, then collapse under a loaded pack. Premium hiking insoles work, but they often cost $60 or more a pair. Custom orthotics can cost hundreds.

We wanted something in between: real, structured support that doesn't cost a fortune.
